In the photovoltaic industry, liquid argon occupies a huge cost in the production process. As a high value gas, output of argon is low and price is high. At present, only air separation plant and argon recovery equipment can produce argon.The price of liquid argon remains high on the market, and the demand for liquid argon in most photovoltaic industries is far larger than the local production of liquid argon. Based on the experience, taking a 5GW crystal pulling plant as an example, an argon recovery and purification equipment could help save argon purchase cost for more than 30 million yuan annually.
